A leader in Canadian agribusiness, Middlesex County is ripe for growth. With a wide array of manufacturing enterprises and a burgeoning tourism industry, the county desired an online identity that would benefit economic development and boost tourism.
Middlesex County approached Giant Goat with the problem of having two disparate identities: one focused on economic development, and one focused on tourism. They needed a uniform design and brand to bring the two elements together – and to stay in budget.
We knew we needed to create a uniform design for both the economic development and tourism sites to develop a cohesive online experience. We worked closely with Middlesex County to determine what their sites’ visitors needed. Our content management experts used the findings of our research to deliver highly engaging content layouts with ample space for imagery and design elements including key region sector data, a media centre, business park data, real estate availability, demographic data and tourist attractions.
A winning combination of professional content and site design created interest in business and tourism for the county. The economic development website makes it clear that the county is ready for business, and the tourism site – loaded with beautiful imagery and clean, interactive design elements – encourages visitors to learn more about Middlesex County. The project’s success was set in stone when it received the EDCO Website Award for 2016.
