Topic last night was GR Strategies & Funding: YES MORE ABOUT MONEY!
With more competition and less available money getting funding takes a lot of time and work especially if it is your first time.
Speakers Jeff Nesbitt (VP Government Affairs Agfa Healthcare) and Glenn Smith (Canadian Digital Media Network) both gave us encouraging insights on how to acquire government funding.
We all know of IRAP and SR&ED but not all of us are aware of the Ontario Interactive Digital Media Tax Credit and the “First Job” Industrial Internship Program from OCE (Ontario Centres for Excellence); thanks for the new information guys!
Yes it takes effort and time and yes we are all busy but the “bigger” guys who have done and won this exercise move forward in perhaps not so small a part due to continuous and larger funding dollars – not to be ignored me thinks!
